Who this policy covers

This policy explains how PairAndGo handles personal information when you visit the website, create an account, publish a profile, contact support, communicate, or purchase PG Coins. It applies to PairAndGo's website and services, not to independent websites you choose to visit.

Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we collect account and passkey identifiers; name, date of birth and gender; optional email and phone details; network address and approximate country, region and city; private matching answers; public persona text and media; avatar and verification status; preferences, likes, matches and conversation membership; message-delivery metadata; blocks, reports and enforcement records; support requests; and PG Coin orders, receipts and wallet-ledger records. We do not store full payment-card numbers or CVCs, raw identity documents, verification videos, reusable biometric templates, or your device's private passkey.

Why we use information

We use each category only as needed to create and secure accounts, confirm adult eligibility and trust status, provide matching and discovery, deliver requested communications and purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support and rights requests, maintain reliable services, comply with law, and keep auditable payment and safety records. We do not use payment information to change compatibility or let a promotion bypass privacy, eligibility, blocks or safety controls.

Private profile and public personas

Your About me profile and private matching answers are not searchable or shown to other members. Dating, Travel and Events personas contain the display name, photo, story and fields you deliberately publish. Visibility controls apply separately to each persona, but account-wide trust, blocks and enforcement still apply.

Automated public activity review

When you choose Anyone on the internet for a Trip, Event or Walk and accept the publication notice, PairAndGo may send an allowlisted copy of its title, description, public-safe place label, coarse locations, dates and activity type to a trusted automated processor for safety review and locale-specific search copy. We do not send your identity, private profile, precise location, private instructions or messages. Private and members-only drafts are not sent. The result is tied to the exact content and becomes invalid when that content changes.

Payments processed by Stripe

PG Coin checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes payment-method, billing, contact, device and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy policy. PairAndGo sends an opaque order identifier, pack code, price and currency and receives transaction identifiers, payment status, amount, currency and an eligible receipt link. PairAndGo never receives or stores your full card number or CVC. Payment and wallet records are used for fulfilment, receipts, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting and legal compliance.

Private chat

Private messages use end-to-end encryption. PairAndGo still processes routing metadata, reports, public profiles, and operational records; the whole service is not anonymous or zero knowledge.

Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We disclose only what is needed to providers that operate hosting, private object storage, payments through Stripe, email or SMS delivery, abuse prevention, and approximate network-location lookup. Providers may use the information only to provide contracted services or meet their own legal obligations. We may also disclose bounded records when required by valid legal process, to protect people from serious harm, or in a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards and notice.

How long we keep information

Session and login-location audit records are retained for 90 days; in-app notifications for 180 days; processed notification-delivery records for 30 days; and redacted failed-delivery records for 90 days. Encrypted message envelopes expire no later than 30 days after submission, according to the selected message lifetime. Payment, ledger, refund, dispute, safety and audit records are retained only as long as needed for fulfilment, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations and claims. Deleted-account information is removed or de-identified after applicable recovery, fraud, safety and legal-hold requirements end. Copies already saved by another member cannot be remotely recalled.

Safety and enforcement records

We record blocks, reports, qualified abuse signals, review decisions and appeals. These records help enforce account-wide protections and may lead to temporary restrictions or suspension. Automated signals do not by themselves prove misconduct; significant adverse actions include human review and an appeal path where safety permits.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion or a portable copy of personal information, withdraw optional consent, object to or restrict certain processing, and appeal a denied request. Use Account settings for available self-service controls or contact us. We verify requests without asking for passwords, passkeys, full card details or unnecessary identity documents, and may retain records that law, fraud prevention, safety or active disputes require.

International processing

PairAndGo and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy protections can differ by country. Where required, we use contractual and technical safeguards for cross-border processing. Public profiles can be viewed from countries other than your own when your visibility settings allow it.

Adults only

PairAndGo is only for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit minors to use the service. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we restrict it, preserve only records required for safety or law, and delete the remaining information.

Security boundaries

We use passkeys, encrypted transport, access controls, environment isolation, upload sanitization and encryption for sensitive stored information. Private-message content is encrypted on member devices; PairAndGo still processes routing metadata, reports, public profiles and operational records. Community and event discussions are moderated server-readable content. No system can promise absolute security.

Policy changes

We will update the effective date and provide prominent in-service notice before a material change takes effect. When law requires consent, the change will not apply until you provide it.

You can control persona visibility, block accounts immediately, report concerns, and request account deletion from Account settings.
