Law Enforcement Policy
This policy explains the actions PairAndGo takes when working with law-enforcement entities and authorized government agencies while protecting member privacy and safety.
Submitting a request
Begin at the PairAndGo company contact URL: https://pairandgo.com/contact. Use “Law-enforcement request” or “Emergency disclosure request” as the subject. The form starts a private intake; PairAndGo will provide secure instructions for sending formal legal documents. Do not place passwords, passkeys, full payment-card data, identity documents, intimate evidence, or private-message content in the contact form.
A request should identify the agency; the requesting official's name, title, badge or employee number, government-issued email address, and direct telephone number; the legal authority and jurisdiction; the signed legal process; the specific PairAndGo account or other identifiers; the requested records and date range; the response deadline; and secure return instructions.
Authentication and legal review
PairAndGo authenticates the requesting official through independently obtained agency contact information. Authorized personnel then record the request, restrict access to the case, and review the issuing authority, jurisdiction, legal validity, requested time period, and relationship between the demand and the identified account. PairAndGo may reject a request, ask for clarification, or seek narrower process when a demand is invalid, informal, overbroad, or does not identify responsive records with sufficient specificity.
Preservation
When PairAndGo receives valid preservation process, authorized personnel preserve the specifically identified records that are available at the time and covered by the request. Preservation does not expand routine collection, restore previously deleted material, create message plaintext, or bypass encryption. Continued preservation or production requires the applicable legal process.
Emergency requests
For a good-faith emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury, submit an Emergency disclosure request and state the nature of the emergency, why the requested information is necessary to address it, the person at risk, the specific records sought, and the time period covered. PairAndGo verifies the requester and reviews each emergency request individually. We may preserve relevant available records and disclose the minimum information permitted by law when the emergency standard is met. PairAndGo is not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help; contact the emergency service where the person at risk is physically located.
Data review and minimum disclosure
After valid process is confirmed, authorized personnel locate responsive records using the supplied identifiers, review the result for scope and legal restrictions, remove non-responsive material, and produce only the minimum responsive information PairAndGo lawfully possesses. Depending on the feature and retention state, this may include account records, public profile or activity material, limited session or delivery metadata, reports, purchase records, or server-readable community content.
Private conversations and private attachments are end-to-end encrypted. PairAndGo does not possess the plaintext, conversation secrets, device private keys, or a law-enforcement decryption key and cannot produce information it does not have. Any private-message evidence available to PairAndGo is limited to content a participant deliberately disclosed through the reporting process.
Notice, secure production, and audit
PairAndGo gives the affected member notice before disclosure unless prohibited by valid legal process, delayed notice is legally authorized, or notice would create a documented risk of harm or compromise an emergency. PairAndGo may seek permission to notify when a non-disclosure restriction expires.
Responsive records are transferred through an authenticated, access-controlled channel—not through the public contact form. PairAndGo records the request, verification, review, preservation, disclosure, recipient, and closure actions; limits access to authorized personnel; and retains those records only for the applicable legal, safety, audit, and dispute period.
